How does it help one to detox?

When the machine is switched on and the feet are immersed in the water, the energiser emits a positive and negative Bio-Energetic current which travels through the body, rebalancing it. A less healthy body has a more positive charge, whilst a healthy body is negatively charged. The Detox Secret Foot Spa balances your body to have a more negative charge. The result is that your body can detox safely and at its own pace, by mobilising residues and wastes stored within the body. This detoxification happens mainly after treatment and is likely to take place via the organs of detoxification i.e. the kidneys, liver and skin. Many people are often convinced that the system 'pulls' toxins from the body, however, this is not the case, the system stimulates and rebalances the body, therefore enabling it to eliminate toxins much more efficiently both during and after the treatment.

Why does the water change colour?

During the treatment you will notice a change in the colour of the water in which your feet are immersed. This colour change is in part due to the chemical reaction of the electrolytic process and not wholly toxin residue. This has been a popular misconception with other systems and the Detox Secret Foot Spa wish to clarify this often-misunderstood fact to all potential purchasers. There are many reasons why the water changes colour, when the energiser is activated this creates an electrolytic flow within the water, substances that are present in the water such as salt, chlorine, magnesium, copper, detergents will influence colour change. Also anything present on the skin such as bacteria, dead skin cells and fungal infections will also influence the colour change. That is why the colour change can vary from person to person and from treatment to treatment.

Why should I use the Detox Secret Foot Spa?

The Detox Secret Foot Spa Machine is a fast, effective and non-invasive way of stimulating and balancing the bio-energetic fields of the body, facilitating better organ function and auto-detoxification. It is strongly recommended that you follow a regular and continuous Detox Secret Foot Spa stimulation and detoxification program.

How are toxins eliminated?

By working energetically, the the Detox Secret Foot Spa stimulates different tissues, organs and systems so that they can carry out their natural detoxifying process better. The electrolysis phenomena in the footbath will release substances that migrate towards the electrodes. The effect of the electromagnetic field created within the solution is to stimulate your body to bio-energetically rebalance. How many treatments do you recommend?

We recommend 5 - 10 treatments over 5-10 weeks, we then recommend a monthly session to keep the body detoxed.

Can children use it?

Yes, we recommend that children between 6-16 have 15 minute sessions, we do not recommend that children under the age of 6 use the apparatus, and the machines should always be operated by an adult.

Is it safe for people with diabetes to use?

Yes, the only people that cannot use the Detox Secret Foot Spa are pregnant ladies, anyone with a pacemaker or anyone with an organ transplant.

How often should I use the the Detox Secret Foot Spa machine?

We recommend one 30 minute session a week for 5-10 weeks, the shortest period of time that can be left between treatments is 3 days because the body needs time to recover until the next session, do not have any more than 30 minutes in each session.

Can the Detox Secret Foot Spa be used whilst taking prescribed drugs?

In general, prescribed drugs consumed on a daily basis with the purpose of stimulating the body's defence system, the regulation of a deficient system or to stimulate detoxification, would be considered compatible with an the Detox Secret Foot Spa treatment. High-risk patients consuming life saving medication should seek medical consent before treatment and are advised to first complete their entire prescription.

Why is salt added to the water?

Salt is an essential part of the the Detox Secret Foot Spa process as it catalyses the reaction between the water, the anode and the cathode. This leads to the ionisation of the water, which in turn results in the electromagnetic field and the ionic exchange between the feet or hands and the saline solution. Some of the colour change does occur due to the fact that salt is added to the water.
